Talk #4: Oncologic Imaging and Imaging Biomarker Studies

Understanding research studies, evaluating their clinical relevance, and assessing their methodological quality are important prerequisites for researchers to use scientific literature to identify unmet clinical needs and develop new research questions. Participants in this lecture series are expected to improve their ability to read and understand research contents in scientific publications. To this end, hot topics in IO research are selected and basic background information, frequent study designs, and important terminology are taught in order to facilitate access to the paper contents and enable quality assessments.
